Nepal, a federal democratic republic of Nepal is a landlocked country bordered by People’s Republic of China to the north and Republic of India to east, west and south. The hilly region accommodates mainly the cultural aspects of the country as there are seven monuments of Kathmandu valley together counted as one in UNESCO World Heritage sites carrying the history of the ancient and the medieval period. The listed UNESCO World Heritage sites are Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhakyapur Durbar Square, Changunarayan temple, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath, and Swoyambhu. The terai region holds huge potentials to attract the people who are looking forward to a vacation which includes both the natural and cultural aspects.
