After lunch, we will drive to Swayambhunath which is popular to foreign tourists as Monkey Temple for the troop of monkeys (which are considered as holy) that take shelter in its premises. After we ascend long (and tiring for some) steep stone-stairs, we will reach the magnificent Buddhist Stupa. In that Swayambhunath is located at the highest point of the valley, we can enjoy a wide angle view of Kathmandu.
After spending some quality time around the peaceful Stupa, we will head to Kathmandu Durbar Square which used to be the home of the royals of Kathmandu.
